Resilient Oak with Gem Pendant

Here in Northern California, the oak trees offer up their bounty of acorns and shift their colors through the fall. In winter they patiently weather the cold, emanating strength and striking bold silhouettes. In spring their leaves are tender and bright with promise. And when the summer heat turns everything around them dry and pale golden brown, their powerful roots penetrate the rocky crust beneath the soil and find what they need to grow; providing nourishment and protective shade, breathing with us, thriving through all challenges with resilience and generosity.

The Resilient Oak Pendant, a sister piece to my Resilient Oak Earrings, is made from tarnish resistant and hypoallergenic .940 Argentium Silver and set with a spring green Arizona Peridot, each component formed carefully by hand.
